Sales, marketing or any customer-oriented role is useful for starting a career in the recruitment industry. Stirling Croft puts additional value on graduates that demonstrate active membership of student societies to validate skills. We accept applications from those without recruitment industry experience but we are looking for graduates that demonstrate the right combination of skills and personal qualities.
3Career Prospects
Recruitment consultants generally start work in the industry as trainees, working within a vertical specific team. As the role is target driven, progression largely depends on achieving and exceeding set targets. Career development depends to some extent on the size and structure of the business. 5Professional Development
In class and on-the-job training is offered to graduate/trainee consultants for the first few months. Most organisations deliver induction or skills training for new staff members entering as graduate/trainee recruitment consultants. Years of Experience: 1 – 5 Years Description: Identify and secure job opportunities within organisations. Attract candidates and successfully place them in those jobs in return for a fee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, progress and convert sales leads as required
  • Identify and obtain new business opportunities
  • Source suitable vacancies in line with agency policy and procedure

Years of Experience: 5 – 10 Years
